Asos Curve mesh waterfall bandeau dress (Uh, hello? It’s G R E E N!)

Okay, I admit it, I’m not the biggest fan of khaki as it usually looks too beige for me, but this dress is totally the green side of khaki. I LOVE IT.

It’s ruched all over with a mesh overlay, which doesn’t get all tangled or pile up in one place like some ruched things do.

John, Joana, Me, Rachael (a new girl in our group,) Tony and Emma (also new to our group, she had a friend who left so we’ve taken her on.)
The length on this dress is spot on, it doesn’t ride up at all when you sit (which I do have trouble with right now due to my back. Still hurting by the way!)

Oh I just love this dress so much. I think strapless dresses are wonderful on me, because I have quite small boobs but broad shoulders this makes my shoulders look smaller because there’s nothing extra up there but emphasises my natural pear shape around my breasts and hips. Just lovely. It doesn’t ride down even though I have my small boobs, which is a huge bonus!

And a close up of my make-up, I went green :D The plushie in my hand is something from World of Warcraft but it’s the only pic I took that showed my make-up ;P I wear Urban Decay, this was Graffiti.

First, I didn’t realize your boobs were on the smaller side until you pointed it out. I like the giant ruffle. I’m not a big green person to begin with but it definitely goes well with the color of your hair.

Haha, I don’t mention it because I want people to look at my boobs but I mention it just so that people know how it fits on my figure. Thank you for the compliment, I think the ruffle ROCKS.

I know why you like green so much, it looks great on you! I have that weird bunching issue with ruched items, too. I think maybe the extra layers help?

Ooo, that dress looks great! It’s something that I’d look at on a website and go, “oh, that’s terrible, nobody’d look good in that except a model”. But in real life it totally works.

I’ll be honest, I just saw green and thought “MINE.” The model pulls it off okay, but I really wish Asos Curve’s models were, well, fatter.

I agreee!!!!! the dresses are really huge on them, surely it cant be that hard to find a fatter woman who looks good and actually fits in the dress, I saw the catwalk video and went “ewww”, doesnt look good at all but I’m reconsidering after seeing it on you :-)

Fashion onlooker here– that dress is such a good color of green on you. I’m glad you found it!

Love the dress, looks great on you. Thinking of ordering it but wondering whether to go up a size or not? Is there some give in it ? Is it stretchy ? :)

Thank you! My size is a 22/24, I got the dress in a 22. It’s definitely stretchy, if I had a 24 it’d have been too big. Hope I helped xx

The green dress looks beautiful on. I dislike the black one, but like I said in your other post I don’t think the dress would look good on anyone. It was not a personal attack, just an opinion.

Ty for the comment about the green dress. My previous annoyance wasn’t directed at you, I’m sorry that you thought it was.

Didnt think anything of the green dress till now, only thing is… is it a stretchy pullup dress or a zip up?

It is a stretchy pull up dress :D Which is good, cos I never use the zips on zip dresses anyway! The elastic helps it stay put around the breasts.

    Hey, doll!

I’m late to the party but I have a question: does the giant side ruffle go all the way down (attached?) or is it just attached in one place? I’m considering the dress for myself, but I don’t want that ruffle- so I’m trying to figure out how easy it is to remove.

You look epic in it though- that’s a GREAT color for you.
