Phew, can you believe it’s July already? I turn 19 this month so expect a nice haul after my birthday. Hehe.
Anyway, today a friend at uni asked me if I had make-up to match all of my outfits, well.. Yes, yes I do. I have this huge palette I got from eBay!
It’s not got a brand name or anything but the colours are amazingly striking and have great staying power, it was REALLY cheap aswell. Especially when used over the top of Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. These were my eyes today, made using only this palette;
This picture makes me look like I have two different coloured eyes. I don’t, they’re both a blue/grey, it’s just the light from my window.
The make up was actually multi-tonal, starting with a yellow/green on the inside then turning more green towards the outer edges, but the camera didn’t seem to pick it up too well.

I posted a picture of it when I posted my Thorpe Park and Alton Towers outfits but it wasn’t a proper OOTD or even a full length picture. I decided that this dress needed some love because it is a wonderful dress. And it’s green, of course ;)
It’s so lovely for summer, it has an underskirt but it’s not thick or too long, the whole dress itself is lovely. The straps are even adjustable :D (But.. MOST OF ALL IT IS GREEN!)

Next week I’m going to be back at placement for 4 weeks so there will be less fun outfits :( Boo. I’ll do what I can for you guys though, I have some more reviews in the works so that’ll be nice.
I’ll probably do a short make-up tutorial or two when I get a chance. I’m feeling really down right now because I miss my Dad (for those of you who don’t know me, my Dad moved to Bulgaria a couple of months ago, with my two little bros, they’re 3 and 5, and this time of the year is bad; I’ve missed Father’s Day, my youngest brother’s birthday and soon it’ll be my other brother’s birthday and then my birthday. Not cool. I’ve always been a Daddy’s girl, and, well. I miss him so much.. I cried for ages earlier. Meh. I don’t want sympathy but I’m just telling it how it is, we all have our foibles.)

Green looks lovely on you. I am in awe of that eyeshadow palette! I can tell you’re just as much of a makeup junkie as I am – I love to mix and match my outfit and make up. I’m also a huge urban decay fan like you – I started loving their stuff when I was a teen (I’m 25 now).
It must be so hard when one half of your family are a few continents away, and I know you don’t want any sympathy but just hold on – I’m sure you will see them soon :) I’ve always found that keeping busy takes my mind off it – feel free to eat chocolate and watch your favourite movies too.
And nope – I can’t believe it’s July either!

Your family sounds like mine – we all have birthdays in very close succession in June and July! I hope you still celebrate big though – I try to extend mine as long as I can. It makes me less freaked about how old I’m getting. XO, Meg

Aw hard to be away from family – but keep your chin up and dress in more pretty green things!! How awesome is that eyeshadow palette – it would inspire you to be creative with colour… but green definitely suits you best!!

Thanks for reading :D I’ve heard of Torrid, they have some lovely stuff, but their UK delivery is rediculously expensive! :( You know, it’s funny, when I see US sites I always think “Omg you guys have so much more than the UK!” But I suppose the grass is always greener on the over side, hey? ;) xx
I don’t know whether it’s just me or if everybody else encountering problems with your website. It seems like some of the written text on your content are running off the screen.
