Yes, yes, I know the photo the other day wasn’t cryptic at all, and you were right. It is a lovely fascinator :O
Jayne from The Libertarian made this absolutely beautiful magpie fascinator just for me! I was touched when I received it because she had also made two sequinned magpies as another clip, which I shall post in due course!
I’ve been feeling so down lately receiving this perked me right up!
Jayne offers custom-made and pre-made fascinators, pill box hats, sequinned bits, hairbands.. Most things fine and fancy, she does it!
As you can see here she has a fine repetoir of people wearing her pieces! From huge statement pieces to small, everyday pieces, Jayne has been there and made it. There are so many pictures and so many designs, I could look at her stuff all day :D
Lots of pictures. Neither of my cameras actually do the piece justice. The two magpies are beautiful and each have a stiff feather for their signature long tails. I did some Christmas shopping and had my hair cut – all of the staff in the salon pointed out how cute it was, and even a couple of cashiers while I was shopping commented on it, seriously!
In the pictures above I have these awesome tights on!
I love the colour. It’s another pair from We Love Colors, if you remember the pair I posted when I went to Yours HQ you’ll recognise the company. They do some lovely plus-sized tights. I find tights really awkward sometimes, they fit funny and I don’t get on with gussets, but these were lovely :D I wore them over underwear (of course!) then put a pair of ‘comfort shorts’ over the top to avoid chub rub and any fabric twisting or turning – it didn’t, they were fine! These are footless and they are very well made, often I find footless tights are just normal tights without the foot, but that normally means that the bottoms roll up my ankles and end up half way up my calf. But these.. These have a nicely sewn seam around the cuff of each let and they stay put, no matter what!

The Flickr dudes make me laugh. I don't mind people who have a BBW thing going on but I'd just rather that they didn't make it my business aswell as theirs.
That fascintator is super cute!
Everytime I see a magpie, I think of you! Was wondering though, do you have magpies in the UK? I always thought they were more of an Australasian bird!?
Thank you ^^ We do have magpies! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Magpie These are the ones we have :D They’re awesome. Lots of people think they’re mean though because they sometimes eat other birds eggs.
Oh! Those are so much prettier than our magpies! Ours are a lot bigger! I posted a picture I took today of a Aussie magpie on my latest blog post!
Hey! I love the fascinator! I’ve given you a little something towards your blog costs as well – it’ll come up in my husband’s name of Robert Harris.
Feel free to drop by my blog and choose an outfit for me to wear.
Aww, you’re super. Thanks so much. My renewals come January 4th and the donation is really gonna help me <3 Your Dress Up Challenge sounds really fun, gonna choose an outfit :D xx
I love quirky fascinators and you look lovely with it! I’ve read about how you love magpies :)
Cheers, I was so chuffed with it :D It’s my new favourite thing.
The fascinator looks absolutely lovely on you! You should wear it to the bloggers meetup if you come. :)
My garden is always full of magpies!
