STRIPES. Fat girls can wear stripes, fuck you!
I have been waiting for these leggings for AGES. Finally I managed to secure them through my friends at Ann Summers so that I could do a review. These are the Elisa leggings in a size 18. They have rectangular cut outs up the side, ALL the way up the side (can’t wear anything too short over them unless you’re comfortable sharing your underwear, or lack of, with the world,) and they kind of remind me of my Simply Be leggings that have slits up them, but these are waaaaaaay nicer.
Not only do they have cut outs, but they are also wet look. I recently bought a cheap pair of wet look leggings to try out and they were so shit I couldn’t be arsed to do a review, they were like £6 from eBay, what did I expect? Well, THESE are WAAAAAAAAAAAY better. The material isn’t itchy, the fabric between the cut outs is actually kind of elasticated and the cut outs sit just on the side of my legs, slightly towards the front. Granted, this isn’t the best picture of them because I wanted to show the cut outs as best I could, but they are SEXY.
Also, lol, how different do I look with black eyeliner on? The guy I’m seeing loves it. I’m not sure. Even with Urban Decay primer potion black eyeliner/shadow (I usually use black eyeshadow and a brush because liner looks stupid on me,) always tends to smudge and blur, NOT in a sexy smokey look :/ Hm. Ah well.
Anyway, this jumper <3 I got it from Evans in a 20/22 and it's by Studio NY. Now, I don't really understand jumpers that have short sleeves, however I will probably just end up putting a long sleeved white top underneath it and layer it (hm, good idea Devon, gotta try that..) Green is my favourite colour. It has stripes, I don't care, they look fine, I actually like stripes so anyone who tells you not to wear stripes then fuck them, do what you want.

I love these leggings! I’m not sure what size I’d need though as I’m normally a 14 in leggings but I’ve never bought clothes from Ann Summers before, do they sell them in store and let you try them on before buying? Or is it only an online thing? I love your website! x
Hey, I’m a size 18 and wearing an 18 in these leggings, they are basically very true to size. I know they sell them online and I’m 99% sure that they’re sold in-store but I’m not overly sure of whether you could try them on or not, because they actually come in a small box. It’s worth going in and asking though! x

That rule that fat girls can’t wear stripes is BULLSHIT. Fat girls can rock whatever the hell we like – confidence is key! :)
P.S. The leggings look great. I’ve got some Mica from Simply Be side slit leggings from last year and love them.
Yes I think those are the Simply Be ones I have too, prefer these though :D
They are fabulous leggings, and how strange i was just looking at a dress with stripes on ebay, and thinking fuck it, I want to wear it, lol
I agree, if you like stripes wear them. I like them thin, I like the thick, and I like them directional. Stripes rock no matter what your size.
Cool cut outs. Can you wear another pair of bright tights underneath for extra effect or would that feel uncomfortable?
I never thought of that, and I really don’t like tights, but I could see that being totally possible and looking pretty cool :D
Oh I LOVE those leggings! They look great! You look great! I totally agree with you on stripes. I LOVE wearing stripes and I don’t care what anyone else says or thinks, I will wear stripes!
